How to install mod_pagespeed

1.Why Use mod_pagespeed?

mod pagespeed improves the page load time, thus improving  performance of a webserver.

it is developed by google.

2.go to https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/module/download

3.Download CentOS/Fedora (32-bit and 64-bit) which ever suits your environment.

4.install using

rpm -ivh mod-pagespeed-stable_current_x86_64.rpm

or

rpm -ivh https://dl-ssl.google.com/dl/linux/direct/mod-pagespeed-stable_current_x86_64.rpm directly without downloading it

5.for testing mod_pagespeed execute

curl -i http://localhost/
